Closing out the cottage? Leave your leftovers.

Closing out the cottage? Leave your leftovers.

A lot of work in Muskoka is seasonal, and many local people rely on food banks to help them bridge the gap between employment contracts. A long harsh winter can leave local families reeling from increased propane and hydro costs, and help with groceries can mean a lot.

Rather than leave your extra canned goods to get stale over the winter, or cart them all back to the city, consider dropping off your leftover tins to a local food bank.
